Photographer Marji Guyler-Alaniz is using her camera to further the cause of FarmHer, which is all about celebrating and documenting women in agriculture. Her exquisite photography captures the beauty in every day and the lives of the women who are the backbone of agriculture in this country. Women are rising to the forefront of agriculture: they are owner/operators, land-owners, workers, mentors.

“I feel our world is long overdue to start bringing images of women in agriculture to the forefront. Through my project FarmHer, I am documenting the amazingly important role that women play in our agriculture system; providing food, giving to their communities and sharing with others.”
